2010 Editor Updates

The editors of Broadsided have been busy, too...

Elizabeth Bradfield, Editor-in-Chief, published her second collection of poetry in 2010: Approaching Ice (Persea Books). She also has work in several new anthologies: Oil+Water, a literary and visual art project that explores our relationship to both elements (proceeds of sales go to Gulf restoration); Cold Flashes: Literary Snapshots of Alaska (University of Alaska Press, 2010); and New Poets of the American West (Many Voices Press, 2010).

Editor Sean Hill's poems have recently been published by The Missouri Review online and Sou'wester, and his poem "Bemidji in Spring" is included in The Art of Angling: Poems About Fishing part of Everyman's Library Pocket Poet Series due out in March 2011. He was recently awarded an American Antiquarian Society Artist Fellowship and selected by Marilyn Nelson as an honorable mention for the 2010 McKnight Artist Fellowships.

Editor Alexandra Teague'sfirst book of poetry, Mortal Geography (see right), won the Lexi Rudnitsky Prize and was published by Persea Books in 2010. She has work forthcoming in Southern Poetry Review, FIELD, and other journals, and was recently awarded a 2011 NEA Fellowship.
